Back in the Saddle

Now that my new baby is here, and blogging. I can get back to the task of communicating my thoughts on the greatest card game ever invented.

Topics that I am going to tackle are going to include my thoughts on the WSOP as it goes down on ESPN. Whether a localized player can make a living at the game, and my beats and plays in my home game.

I have a new hand, named affectionately after my new daughter, "The Hannah", two black nines, this came to be while I was waiting out my wife's 26 hour labor and I called my boy DoubleD and he cut the deck for me twice at the game that night and voila! 9 of Spades and 9 of Clubs. In my eyes, it's the unbeatable nuts, although it is only 4-2 since the moniker has been attached.
